Food for Thought (01239 621863) is our own local restaurant that we go back to time and time again. A reasonably priced menu but plenty of good food on the plate. Breakfast is always a winner, but new main meals are always being created which adds spice to life. Friendly staff and very comfortable surroundings.

Food - Tresaith
The Ship Inn (01239 811816) offers amazing views over the beach and the sunsets from the conservatory and heated terrace are stunning. Food is sourced locally and freshly prepared.
Food - Newquay
The Old Watchhouse (01545 560909) is situated at the entrance to New Quay pier with beautiful sea views. A good range of traditional family meals and a very nice breakfast is served. Seasonal.
The Hungry Trout (01545 560680) is also looking over the Newquay harbour and its speciality (the clue is in the name) is locally caught seafood, but also includes several meat and vegetarian options and a Sunday roast is available.
Food - Local Produce
St. Dogmaels Local Producers Market - every Tuesday throughout the year from 9am - 1pm. The St Dogmaels local producers market was established in 2009, in response to the growing need for fresh local produce from ethical sources.
Cardigan Market - Cardigan market first opened its doors in 1860. It was the first civic building in Britain in the “modern Gothic” style advocated by John Ruskin, and includes some Arabic influences (as can be seen in the arch decorations). Over the years the market has gone from strength to strength whilst managed by Ceredigion County Council.
The Newquay Honey Farm is a delight to visit with local honey and Mead available to purchase.
Caws Cenarth produce several varieties of award winning cheese for immediate use or provide hampers as great gifts for those left back home.

Food - Aberaeron
The Harbourmaster Hotel (01545 570755) an iconic award winning restaurant for a special meal using local produce. You Can't beat sitting outside on the harbour wall with your after dinner coffee. Magical indeed.
The Hive (01545 570445) has a relaxed atmosphere with specially prepared food. A choice of seating areas to suit everyone, from bar, to conservatory, to large outside terrace with lovely views over Aberaeron and its harbour. Live music most Friday evenings.
