Girl in a Red Dress

Alston, a foundational figure of the Harlem Renaissance, depicts the young woman in a way that embodies the artist’s synthesis of African aesthetics in portrayals of African American subjects. Her graceful, elongated neck and sculpturally rendered face, combined with stylized modern attire and a contemplative gaze to the side, convey an enigmatic effect in which the unnamed sitter is seemingly oblivious to the viewer. Representations such as this one manifest the Harlem Renaissance philosopher Alain Locke’s exhortation that "art must discover and reveal the beauty which prejudice and caricature have overlaid."

Functional pants, safe bed, accurate color.
Size: 34W x 32L, Color: Dark Olive, Size: 34W x 32L, Color: Dark Olive
I think these pants are very functional, the color is very accurate, the fit is good, I think it is a very safe choice for someone looking for safe pick. I have not tried washing them so i am not sure about wrinkle resistance, I may update my review later. But out of the box, they were not wrinkled. Thickness is decent, not too thick or thin. Since I got it for some discount, the value was good. The image is in yellow lighting.

You get what you pay for.
I have 4 pairs of these pants. Originally, I gave them a five star review because the fit was perfect, they are comfortable, and looked nice. I have worn them several times and they seemed to be well made. However, I've changed my rating to three stars. I've washed 3 of the 4 pairs I bought. The black pair came out o.k.. The olive and grey pairs are not color fast. The olive pair faded considerably in the wash and has a definite brown tinge to it in the thighs and knees. The grey pair did not fade as much, but you can also see that brown tinge in the thighs and knees. I can still wear them as work pants, but I was disappointed. I have also noticed that the inside of the front pockets have excessive wear. The bottom line is that these pants do not cost much, but will probably not last long. Are they worth $30? Personally, I'd rather pay more and get better quality. I had put several other Goodthreads items on my wishlist, but now I'm rethinking that.
