A soft and ceremonial pair of ivory white handmade men's jutti — also called mojari, khussa, or Punjabi wedding shoes — crafted in premium jute silk with sequin and thread work on premium jute silk. Ivory white is the elevated bridal-party color — softer than bright white in photographs, beautifully complementary to embroidered outfits.

Hand-stitched with sequin and thread work across the upper — refined detail with substantial texture, beautifully photogenic. Jute silk has a distinctive natural slub texture and a matte finish — substantial without feeling heavy, with a tactile quality that photographs beautifully.

About juttis & mojaris: Juttis (also called mojari or khussa) are a traditional Indian footwear style worn for centuries — originally crafted in Punjab and Rajasthan for royal courts. Each pair is hand-stitched by skilled artisans, with intricate work that takes hours per shoe to complete. Unlike modern shoes, traditional juttis don't have a separate left and right — they shape to your feet as you wear them.

How to style these shoes: Pair them with jewel-tone or pastel kurtas — ivory is softer than bright white and pairs beautifully with both. They're an ideal choice for weddings, sangeet, receptions, festive evenings. Juttis go beautifully with kurta pajamas, sherwanis, and even Indo-Western outfits — the naturally textured, substantial, and refined fabric photographs beautifully under any lighting.

Why customers love these juttis

  • Hand-stitched in India by skilled artisans — every pair takes hours to complete
  • Naturally textured, substantial, and refined fabric — photographs beautifully and holds up through long ceremonies
  • Traditional construction — shapes to your feet over time for a personal fit
  • Versatile ivory white tone that pairs with multiple kurta colors
  • Ships in 24 hours from our Pleasanton, California studio — no overseas wait, no customs surprises

Size & fit guide

Juttis are sized in standard US men's shoe sizes. Traditional juttis are designed without a separate left and right — they'll shape to your feet over the first few wears. We recommend selecting your usual US shoe size, or sizing up by half if you have wide feet.

US Size UK Size Foot Length (inches)
7 6 9.6
8 7 9.9
9 8 10.3
10 9 10.6
11 10 11.0
12 11 11.3

Tip: traditional juttis feel snug on first wear — this is by design. The leather/fabric softens and shapes to your feet over the first 2-3 wears.

Care instructions

Spot clean only with a soft, dry cloth — avoid water immersion, which can damage the fabric and the hand-stitched detailing. Store in a breathable cotton bag or shoe box (not plastic) to prevent moisture buildup. If the shoes get caught in rain, blot dry immediately with a soft cloth and let them air-dry away from direct heat. With proper care, traditional juttis last for years.

Interesting Follow Up to the 80/20 Principle
Format: Paperback
If you enjoyed the 80/20 Principle this is a good guide to applying it in your life. He does make some bold predictions like highly competent individuals will soon make public corporations obsolete. Some of this book is highly speculative and other parts are very practical. Luckily it is pretty easy to tell which is which. Very interesting book.

A Few Gems, but Not the Right Fit for Me
Format: Kindle
This book focuses on the 80/20 principle, emphasizing the importance of identifying and maximizing the 20% of activities that yield the greatest results. While it offers valuable insights on growth, creativity, and leveraging strengths, it didn’t resonate with me personally, and I found the reading experience less enjoyable. Key Takeaways: • Growth requires creating something new and meaningful, not maintaining the status quo. • Focus on your “20% spike”—your unique strengths—and develop them like an athlete. • Use the 80/20 principle to identify the most profitable parts of a business. Overall, the ideas are useful, but the book didn’t fully capture my interest or provide practical applications I could relate to.
