A handsome 6 drawer dresser from the iconic Campaign Series for the quality maker Henredon Furniture. Features solid recessed feet, with deep dovetailed drawers, brass inset drawer pulls and front corners capped in brass detail; dividers in drawers for organized storage and a trinket / jewelry tray in top drawer.
This distinct campaign style was originally made for military campaigns and intended for utility. The boxy design allowed for better stacking and shipping in travel and the brass detail, now decorative, was meant to protect the corners and edges of these cases as the moved amongst the cargo. Often seen in the early 20th century on safari and then later in Hollywood Regency design.

condition: excellent vintage condition with light wear and use. Restored top lacquered finish. Some patina on brass hardware. All drawers gliding properly and structurally sound.
