  • Senecio stapeliiformis 'Pickle Plant'  is a pencil-like succulent with beautiful purple and green markings and small white spines. 'Pickle Plant' grows in a clumping fashion and can reach 10 inches in height. 
  • Easily propagated from offsets.
  • Produces large red and orange flowers that typically bloom in the spring.
  • Hardy to Zone 9b (20° F). Stapelioformis will not survive a hard frost. 
Stapelioformis Care: As with all cactus, it is best to follow a "soak and dry" schedule where you water your plants deeply (until water runs out the bottom drain holes), and then allow your soil to dry completely before watering again. Cactus should always be planted in well-draining cactus and succulent soil and in a pot or container that has drain holes.
