You will receive three files in the zip file - a PNG image file, a DXF CAD file, and an SVG multilayer laser cut file. These files are intended to help you create a faux stained glass suncatcher out of your choice of materials - whether you're using a Glowforge, Glowforge Aura, Polar, Xtool, Cricut, or any other awesome cutting machine out there. The multilayer SVG file has the outlines and the interior pieces as separate groups - they are not layered as intended for a shadowbox paper cutout, for example.
In the sample photos, I used 1/8" (3mm) colored acrylic for the interior "glass" pieces and 1/4" (6mm) black acrylic for the "solder" outlines. The colored pieces are flush with the back of the black acrylic.

BACKGROUND: I am a stained glass artist who creates both artwork and pattern designs, and I started making SVGs of my stained glass patterns after hearing from my clients that they wished there was a different type of stained glass - a safer and lighter kind that was kid-friendly and cat-safe(r). After doing a ton of experimenting, I'm excited to bring these SVGs to you so you can have fun making these stained glass patterns in a medium other than glass.
