Origins
Monstera dissecta has a wide natural range across the tropics of the Americas, from southern Mexico through Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama, and on into Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and parts of northern Brazil. It grows as a hemi-epiphyte, climbing tree trunks in warm, shaded, consistently humid understorey conditions.
Soil and Substrate
